There are two different types of business services performed by UMI Direct
- Custom Embroidery/Screen-Printing - We can take your existing company logo or create a new logo for you and transform it into a beautiful design.
- Standard Embroidery/Screen-Printing - We can apply your personal logo or company name in your choice of lettering styles (script, block or Old English) using a variety of thread/ink colors.
Custom Embroidery
For a polished, professional look.
Simply send us your sketch, business card, letterhead or existing logo and our staff our artwork department will transform it into a brilliant, raised thread embroidered design. Our experts will take care of all the details so you don't have to. An electronic preproduction sample will be sent for your confirmation and approval before the final order is run. Costs for direct embroidery are as follows:
- Set-up fee: $100.00 (anything up to 5,000 stitches)
- Set-up fee: $200.00 (designs from 5,000 - 10,000 stitches)
- Set-up fee: Please call (designs over 10,000 stitches)
- Set-up fees do not apply to standard embroidery requests.

Custom Screen-Printing
We'll print your logo crisp and clear every time. Once again, just send us your business card, letterhead or existing logo and UMI Direct will turn it into a bold screen-printed design. In order to qualify for screen-print work a few small minimum quantity requirements must be met:
- 1 color minimum is 6 for jackets: 12 for shirts, 24 for hats and t-shirts.
- Set up fee of $150.00 for 1-3 color designs. $300.00 for 4 or more colors.
