Like all Carhartt thermal underwear, we've designed this new midweight cotton crew neck top for comfort, warmth and durability. Made of premium, 9.5-ounce, 100% cotton, it features rib-knit neck and sleeve openings that keep warm air locked in. The fabric, which is 30% heavier than most other cotton thermals, also traps body heat in for warmth. All seams are flat-locked for added durability, comfort and strength, and its low shrinkage provides a consistent fit. For function, ruggedness and ease of movement, this job-tested crew neck has it all.

Got one of these in late fall and find that worn under a sweatshirt or a fleece top it keeps me very warm in my house - set at 65 degrees during the day. Bought this one to have one available when one needs waashing

Excellent purchase, I am wearing mine right now! I bought the top and bottom and they keep me extremely warm even when it is windy while I am waiting outside at the train station during my daily commute to DC. We got 10 inches of snow yesterday and I didn't even notice the cold while pushing vehicles stuck in the snow and while I shoveled for 2 hours last night. Be aware that while indoors at 72 degrees while wearing these you may feel too hot if you have more than one layer on top of this.

retired from heavy construction after 40 years,if it was not for carhartt I problaly would have frozen to death. simply the best!
